About

Inzamul Ahmed completed his graduation with honours in Statistics from the Department of Statistics, Cotton College (2013), and post-graduation with a specialization in Actuarial Science from the Department of Statistics, Gauhati University (2015). Before joining Cotton University as a faculty member, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Statistics, Assam Agricultural University. He cleared the SLET (NE) in Mathematical Sciences in 2017.

His notable achievements include prestigious awards like the Anundoram Borooah Award (2009) by the Planning & Development Department, Govt. of Assam, the DST INSPIRE Fellowship (2017) by the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India, and two gold medals (2013, 2015) from Gauhati University.

Currently, he teaches Sampling Theory, Probability and Measure Theory, and Actuarial Statistics at the postgraduate level, and Introductory Statistics, Discrete Distributions, Introductory Regression Analysis, and Skill Enhancement courses using SPSS/PSPP at the undergraduate level. His key areas of interest include Distribution Theory, Sampling Techniques, Applied Social Research, and Actuarial Science. He has published four papers in various international journals and presented papers at four national and international conferences.
