About

Inzamul Ahmed did his graduation with honours in Statistics from the Department of Statistics, Cotton College (2013), and Post-graduation with specialisation in Actuarial Science from the Department of Statistics, Gauhati University (2015). Before joining Cotton University as a faculty member, he served as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Agricultural Statistics, Assam Agricultural University. He cleared the SLET (NE) in Mathematical Sciences in the year 2017. His other notable achievements include prestigious awards like Anundoram Borooah Award, 2009 (by Planning & Development Department, Govt. of Assam), DST INSPIRE Fellowship, 2017 (by Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India), and two Gold medals (2013, 2015) from Gauhati University. He currently teaches Real Analysis and Statistical Quality Control in the Post-Graduate and Under-Graduate courses. His key areas of interest are in Distribution Theory, Design of Experiments, Sampling Techniques, and Actuarial Science. So far, he has published three papers in different International journals and has also presented papers in four National/International conferences.
